For those who don't know, Danielle hates facial hair. I've always wanted to grow a beard, but between Chick-fil-A and my mission, I haven't been allowed to do so. Well, Danielle didn't want to let me grow one either, but I went ahead and did so anyway (a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do). After about a month of growing, I went ahead and shaved it off. While doing so I took some pics of the different facial hair options, and I figured I would post them as both a way for people to comment on which they like best and if they think Danielle should let me grow some more in the future, and also as a way to commemorate my middle-school love for professional wrestling. So here goes (and please excuse the matted down hair; this was pre-shower):

The Stache and Soul Patch (I couldn't remember any wrestlers with this one)
The Norman Smiley Stache
And let me just say a couple of things about the wrestlers I have chosen: 1. Goldberg is the greatest wrestler ever. Hands down; 2. Norman Smiley may not be very well-known, but he should've been. In my book he is the most underrated wrestler of our time.
Anyway, I may have shaved today, but that may not be the case in the future, and with my wife being such an antagonist against my facial, I'll need all the support I can get when the day comes that I do want to regrow my facial hair. I would also like to know which style I should aspire to next. I'm out...for now...
Hi Remington, I've got to back my girl Danielle up on this one... so fresh and so clean is definitely the way to go. I'm not a fan of facial hair either- mainly because it makes kissing much less enjoyable. ;) However, I will say that if you do decide to go the facial hair route against your darling wife's wishes, the Goldberg look is actually nice on you. Definitely don't do just a mustache (or "soul patch")- that look reminds me of creepy guys. haha hope this helps! -Heather
ReplyDeleteSorry Danielle, but I actually like the mountain man look! I agree that facial hair is no fun to kiss, but just for looks purposes, the beard is nice on Rem!
